Aerobics
Aerobics offers an energetic workout to burn calories, tone muscles and get the blood pumping! Don’t be put off though, you can always work to your own level, either low or high impact and get a fantastic workout that will leave you on a high!
Approx calories burned per class: high impact 450, low impact 320 calories.
Total Tone
Total Tone includes a short aerobic style warm up followed by intense toning of all major muscle groups. With resistance bands to assist toning of legs, bums, tums and arms, you’ll soon see the difference to your shape through improved muscle tone and inch loss. With different intensity levels available, you can choose the exercise most suitable for you and work to your own level.

Supple Strength
Supple Strength incorporates techniques used in both yoga and pilates, combined with strengthening exercises to achieve an effective all over body work out. Participants are encouraged to focus on the core muscles in the abdomen and lower back throughout the class in order to develop strong posture and a flat stomach. Through strengthening , stretching and balancing exercises Supple Strength will leave you feeling toned, flexible and relaxed.

Zumba
Zumba is the latest dance and fitness craze to be sweeping the nation and has been on Elite’s timetable since Oct 2009. With an inspiring mix of latin based dances you are sure to get a fantastic workout without even realizing how hard you are working! This class is sure to make you smile … and sweat! Please note that not all Zumba instructors have ever taught before so if you choose Elite’s Zumba, you are guaranteed to receive a professionally taught class by a professional dance and fitness instructor.

Dance Fit
Dance Fit was created by Emma Knox in 2005 and has the same structure as Zumba but the dances are based on popular music. Using artists such as Take That, Alexandra Burke, Paloma Faith, Dizzee Rascal etc, this class is fun and energetic and will give you a great workout!

Urban Funk
Urban Funk is a class designed to allow any age, sex or ability to enjoy a hip-hop dance class. Initially trained by Richard Callender, the Personal Trainer from ITV's The Biggest Loser, Emma has been teaching Urban Funk since 2005 and thrives on creating challenging, original routines. Using tracks from artists such as Rihanna, Usher and Busta Rhymes to name a few, Urban Funk provides a great mix of soulful RnB and more hardcore Hip-Hop and is a great way to exercise without feeling like you are!

Combat Kick
Combak Kick is a high impact class using aerobic moves incorporated with kicks and punches. The high intensity, specialized moves give you a fantastic cardio vascular workout as well as great muscle tone. Combat Kick will tone areas that you didn't know you had! Great for toning legs, bums and arms!

Box Fit
Box Fit is proving to be an extremely popular addition to the Elite timetable! Using pads and gloves, this energetic class is a superb way to improve cardio fitness, increase upper body and core strenght as well as being an immense stress busting workout!! This class should not be missed!!!

Salsa
Salsa is a great way to exercise and learn a new skill. The latin music, mixed with learning specific Salsa technique will give you a great workout and leave you on a high! This class is suitable for all ages and abilities and can involve work with partners, although partners are not essential. Bailamos!

Adult Tap
Many of you may have Tap danced as a child and the thought of taking it up again may be daunting. It really doesn't have to be! Tap is a great way to exercise, challenge yourself and learn new skills. Due to the nature of Tap, the class is suitable for all ages and abilities as moves can be made more or less complex by adding or removing beats. Why not give it a try? You might just like it!
