5 Reasons why you should try a spin class! 

I'm sure at some point you've heard someone say "How amazing their spin class is"  I'm sure you have also thought how could sitting in a dark room with loud music and flashing lights be amazing?

Well, we have 5 reasons why you should have a go and start peddling.

HAPPY HORMONES           
It’s been proven time and time again that exercise produces endorphins that interact with receptors in the brain and trigger positive feelings in your body. That is why staying active can help so many people combat depression and negative mental and physical health conditions including stress. 

LOW IMPACT EXERCISE
Another advantage of spinning is, it’s a non-load bearing form of exercise. Great if you are recently recovering from an injury. The very act of sitting means the degree of pressure is taken off the joints meaning you can focus on your fitness goals. 

INCREASE CARDIOVASCULAR FITNESS
This is the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen-rich blood to the working muscle tissues, and the ability of the muscles to use oxygen to produce energy for movement. A spin class can be an effective and safe way for you to increase your fitness under the supervision of our Spin instructors.

LEAN MUSCLE DEFINITION 
One of the physical benefits of spinning is lean muscle definition in your core and legs. Muscle weighs more than fat so as you start to build more lean muscle definition you are likely to put on more weight, but your body shape will change in all the right places. Plus, the more muscle mass you have the more calories your body burns every day to its win win.  

RELIEVES STRESS 
Its been scientifically proven that exercise can help to reduce stress. Exercise focuses on the mind and allows you to clear your headspace and temporarily and help forget what stresses you’ve had that day.
