Fluctuating hormone levels are associated with weight gain and difficulty losing weight. High levels of oestrogen, cortisol, and insulin and low levels of thyroxine can lead to extra belly fat. A hormonal imbalance may cause excessive sweating, mood swings, tiredness and a generally not feeling yourself.
Do you exercise a lot, but feel that your body hasn't changed? Do you eat healthy but you are putting on weight? Do your clothes feel tighter, but you haven't changed your exercise regime or diet?
If you feel this is you and have all the above symptoms, you may need to see your doctor!
