Sunday 26th November saw Elite School of Dance take to the stage to compete in the regional heats for the UK's biggest group dance competition, That's Showbiz. This competition involved all four of our squads from our juniors right through to our Seniors and Elite Squad. Routines were choreographed by Miss Laura McCabe, Miss Emma and Oliver with rigorous rehearsals since the start of term in September ready for the heats and application for the 2018 Dance World Cup which we submitted at the start of November.
Elite were on fighting form and received excellent scores, placings and commendations from the Adjudicators: Results overview: Junior Competition Squad: Over the Rainbow - 4th Tap Troupe: Friend Like Me - 2nd and Best Small Group Award Inter Competition Squad: Little Party - 1st Elite Squad: Piece by Piece - 1st Elite will now be heading to the semi-finals to compete at the Blackpool Opera House in the new year. We would like to congratulate every student who performed at the heats and our amazing support of families and friends. We can't wait to see how they get on in the semi finals and, of course the other competitions and events we have lined up in 2018... Look out, here come team Elite!

I think that these teams have played their hearts out. I know that it is a close one, and which is why this is going to be good. If these two teams compete at the highest level, then I just know that something great will come of it. I want to go and see what they are all about, and this is the perfect time for us to go and do it, I hope that we become able to do it, though.

Elite’s new squad has done much hardwork and worked according to the plan. The succees is the result of their passion. Passion and love about anything can lead you towards better ending. Keep working step by step towards right direction.
